We hope you are all having a fun and enjoyable summer vacation!

The coaches are excited to see you all in Term 1!

Please be reminded that Term 1 starts on 1 February 2025. 

There are 2 types of classes this year, novice and intermediate/advanced classes. 

Novice class is on Thursdays, 5:30-730pm. This will be a mix of ages from 8 years old and above.

Intermediate/ Advanced classes are on Saturdays:

• 7:45am-945am, 8 to 12 year olds
• 945am-1145am, 13 to 17 year olds

Adult classes on the other weekdays are for Expressions of Interest at this stage. 

Fees are still term-based and are paid in full prior to the start of the term. Term 1 fee is $360.

Coach Simon is able to have individual lessons with interested fencers on Thursdays - from 4pm to 530pm and after 730pm on Thursdays. Individual lessons are to be arranged directly with Coach Simon.

All fencers must hold a membership with the Queensland Fencing Association (www.QFA.org.au). This is important for insurance and club accrediation.

New fencers who are starting must join as a "Learn-to-Fence" member. Thereafter, you must join as a junior member (below 17) or as a senior member (18+). These are paid on the QFA.org.au website.

There are a number of fencing competitions this year and we hope to see more fencers join! We are hoping to host to events this year, so keep a lookout for the announcements.
